Follow every exception back to where it was thrown
When a C++ exception is thrown, control flow unwinds until something handles it. PC-lint Plus now tracks that path backwards through your program and flags the places where it goes wrong.
- Catch unhandled exceptions in entry point functions and in functions marked noexcept
- Flag explicit exceptions swallowed by a catch-all handler
- Get a Graphviz report for each finding, showing the file and line where the exception originates
- Choose which function signatures count as able to throw, to match your coding rules

MISRA C++:2023, now over 97%
PC-lint Plus supports over 97% of the MISRA C++:2023 guidelines and the recently released Technical Corrigenda (TC1).

More control over Diagnostic Accounting
Configure the output to exclude suppressed messages, include only a specified subset of messages, or both. This supports a wider range of use cases.

Bug fixes, includes fewer false positives
Fixes 13 bugs, mostly false-positive messages. It also fixes issues with Halstead and function call metrics, switch fall-through suppression, and template base classes.
