PC-lint Plus for PC-lint and FlexeLint Users
PC-lint Plus is the successor to PC-lint and FlexeLint. It is a ground-up rewrite built on the Clang framework and largely backward-compatible with the tools you already use. Your indirect files work the same way, and you can run it on Windows, Linux, and macOS.

Modern language support, easier setup
C11, C17, C23, C++17, C++20, and C++23, plus older standards such as C++03, C++11, and C++14. A configuration tool extracts settings from your compiler and build process. Integrations include Sublime Text and Code Composer Studio.
Deeper, faster analysis
Improved value tracking stores value ranges, tracks structure members and floating-point values, and handles data and function pointers. Built-in semantics cover more than 200 standard library functions, and parallel analysis runs across threads in large codebases.
Custom checks and metrics
Queries define custom checks based on AST nodes. More than 100 built-in metrics include cyclomatic complexity, Halstead, NPATH, and HIS, along with your own definitions.
Suppressions you can audit
Diagnostic Accounting records every diagnostic, whether emitted or suppressed. Tags for suppression options appear in the output and link each suppression to its documented deviation. Unused suppressions are also detected.
PC-lint Plus View
Explore diagnostics, filter by severity, rule, or file, track findings across builds, and export in SARIF format.
Call graphs and exception propagation
Write project-level call graphs in DOT Language for Graphviz. For C++, trace exceptions back through the program and generate a report on where each one originates.
