AN-IDG-1-015 Variant Coding - Calculation of Default Strings
The Variant Coding default string is a compact representation of the default values of a certain text table data objects in the telegram of a Variant Coding Diagnostic instance. To calclulate the default string, CANdelaStudio iterates through the telegram table in order to generate a hexadecimal representation of the default values. In the same way, a default string can be used to set the default values of the data objects of the telegram table. This document provides examples for relevant cases of the default string generation regarding the byte order of the data objects.
