In addition to innovations for service-oriented architectures (SOA), the focus is also on extensions for bus systems and network technologies such as CAN XL, LIN and Ethernet.

  • The Data Window has been extended by the Branched page for displaying complex data types.
  • In the Symbol Explorer, the new Min, Max and Unit columns are available in the Network Symbols, Variables and Participants & Application Layer Objects views.
  • A search field for filtering the list has been added to the Windows dialog. This allows you, for example, to find and open a specific window or panel in the list more quickly.
  • The improved favorites view allows you to work comfortably with many windows.

  • Standalone mode: When downloading or exporting a configuration for standalone mode, it is possible to specify that the generated file should be encrypted.

Domain Automotive

Option AMD/XCP

  • The GET_DAQ_CLOCK command is called cyclically to improve the synchronization of DAQ timestamps.
  • The ASAP2 Updater has been updated to version 16 SP2.

 

Option CAN

  • Simulated networks can be used in the real mode of CANoe.
    This allows simulations with a mixture of real and simulated CAN networks. The setting is done in the Application Channel Mapping dialog.

  • Protocol Analyzer
    • New analysis window.
    • Protocol errors are clearly shown in the Protocol Analyzer Window and can also be grouped.

    • Statistic counters and display options allow the separation of frequent and seldom errors.
    • The new function C2xReportProtocolViolation of the Protocol Analyzer API allows to apply own rule sets in Protocol Analyzer Window.
    • Callback function to be able to react on detected protocol errors in CAPL.
  • SREM/SSEM Support
    • The configures the GeoNetworking layer and SREM/SSEM main fields when sending SREM/SSEM.
    • Automatic visualization of SREM/SSEM status in Map Window.
    • Sample configurations for SREM/SSREM , CAM-R09 and Regional Extensions available.
  • Security
    • The creation of multiple CertIssuePermissions for EU certificates is possible in the Certificate Manager.
    • Improvements of security performance (sign/verify).
  • V2X Stack
    • Path Delta Time for CAM and DENM is automatically set.
    • By means of the attribute 'Initial Content' the initialization of application messages based on PER encoded data eases the simulation of application messages with geographic content like MAP and IVIM.
  • Scenario Editor
    • Values of subattributes can be accessed in CAPL.

 

Option Ethernet

  • Core Functionality
    • Support of AUTOSAR standards R19/11 and R20/11 (disentangled)
    • Simulated networks can be used in the real mode of CANoe. This allows simulations with a mixture of real and simulated Ethernet networks. The setting is done in the Application Channel Mapping dialog.
    • The default number of TCP assemblers has been increased to 1000. This number can be increased further by setting the TcpAssemblerMaxConnectionCount in the [Ethernet] section of CAN.ini.
    • TLS alerts are now also reported as protocol violation, allowing a reacting to it in CAPL using ethernetPacket::HasProtocolError and reading the error text using ethernetPacket::getProtocolErrorText.
    • 8-bit E2E sequence counters are now supported in Fibex.
    • TLV Mode, Byte Order Mark and String Termination can now also be configured in the Component Configuration dialog in the settings of the AUTOSAR Ethernet Interaction Layer.
    • The stack parameters net.inet.tcp.delayed_ack and net.inet.tcp.delacktime can be used to enable, disable and set the TCP Delayed ACK for each TCP/IP stack individually.
    • The TCP retransmit time can now be adjusted with the net.inet.tcp.rexmit_max stack parameter.
    • SOME/IP Service Discovery Repetition now responds according to the AUTOSAR standard when using the AUTOSAR Ethernet Interaction Layer.
  • Communication Concept
    • Ethernet with distributed objects allows the use of multiple Ethernet networks.
    • It is now possible to set and use the Event Group Control Type to influence the subscription behavior.
  • Network-based Access
    • A new help page describes how to start with Ethernet VN devices.
    • The VN5650 supports time-accurate sending of AVB streams when using hardware driver version 22.10.
