Introduction to Integration and Test of AUTOSAR Systems

This webinar showcases how vVIRTUALtarget support integration, simulation and testing for AUTOSAR software, the functional implementation of the software components (SWC’s) in AUTOSAR Classic or the executables in AUTOSAR Adaptive. As a result, the later AUTOSAR interfaces can already be used during the development of the software. This saves time for developing, because the software can be reused in AUTOSAR ECUs without any change.

vVIRTUALtarget is also a platform for simulating and testing ECU software using the AUTOSAR stack. Additional software errors that occur only in connection with the AUTOSAR stack can be eliminated. In addition, the simulation with vVIRTUALtarget shows a behavior that is closer to the real system than would be the case in simulations without the AUTOSAR stack. This saves time for developing, because errors are detected early, and simulations and tests can be performed faster.

Prerequisite knowledge:

- An understanding of the PC environment

- A general knowledge of, or experience with, AUTOSAR.

- Elementary experience with Vector’s CANoe software.
