Contains the complete installation of DaVinci Developer 4.6.20. A license of version 4.6 or higher is necessary for the operation. In case an according license is already activated on your PC no further renewal of this activation is necessary.
This release is only relevant for AUTOSAR 4. AUTOSAR 3 is supported by DaVinci Developer Version 3.7 or previous releases.
With DaVinci Developer 4.6, the following changes become effective:
DaVinci Developer 4.x releases will upgrade existing DaVinci Developer 3.x workspaces to a newer format, this happens automatically upon opening.
For creating/updating projects with DaVinci Configurator, the latest service pack of the according DaVinci Configurator 5 version is required.
DaVinci Developer 4.0 is the latest release supporting Windows 32-bit. From DaVinci Developer 4.1 on the releases are only available as a 64-bit executable.
DaVinci Developer 3.7 is the latest release supporting AUTOSAR 3.x. With higher versions only AUTOSAR 4.x is supported.
AUTOSAR Schema 19-11 (AR4.5) is now supported
Dynamic arrays can be designed according to the new structure defined by AUTOSAR 4.2
ECU-Extracts of LIN Slaves are supported as input files
A post build variant can include conditions for multiple criteria
'Create Port from Signal' optionally creates application data types
