The RT Rack is an industrial PC with a operating system that is optimized for CANoe simulation. Its modular layout makes it possible to use any of the PCIe cards available from Vector. Cards from third party suppliers, such as I/O cards, can be integrated smoothly as well.

Application Areas

On the powerful RT Rack the CANoe simulation is executed with increased performance of the real-time relevant parts. The configuration and evaluation of the simulation, however, is done on workstation computers. Using the RT Rack increases the overall performance of CANoe through this separation and at the same time prevents negative influences from other components, such as graphics system or virus scanner, on latency times and timer accuracies.

1 The RT Rack as "CANoe RT Rack" variant is optimized for executing CANoe simulations and CANoe is installed and pre-configured for you. The CANoe simulation is operated in distributed mode.
2 However, the RT Rack can be delivered as "Industrial PC" variant with CANoe installed for use with Vector applications.
3 The RT Rack is also available as "Industrial PC" variant without operating system
