Modular Test Hardware

To test LRUs thoroughly, it is not only necessary to connect the communication networks to the test system, it is also necessary to connect the I/O interfaces.

This task is handled by the Vector VT System. It simplifies the setup of test benches and HIL test systems immensely, because it integrates all circuit components needed to connect an I/O channel in one module. Examples of I/O channels are an LRU's output for controlling a reading light or input for connecting a liquid level sensor.

CANoe Options for Measurement

The option Scope is an integrated oscilloscope solution for CANoe based on an USB oscilloscope hardware. The supported hardware has up to 4 input channels for 2 CAN (FD) or 4 LIN/IO and is triggered using the sync line of Vector´s interface hardware. With bus specific trigger conditions and the CANoe time synchronization, you can find the cause of protocol errors much faster than with any traditional oscilloscope.
