Updates existing installations of version 14.0 to 14.0 SP4. Not suitable for vSignalyzer <14.
With Service Pack 4, the following changes become effective:
User Operation and Display
Improved PDF export: The font used in the PDF now always corresponds to the one displayed in CANape.
When selecting signals in the signal selection dialog, it is possible to select all signals using <STRG>+<A> again.
When Panel windows are printed, the description texts of input/output controls are included as well.
When copying/pasting existing display pages, the page allocation of your windows is applied correctly.
When reading parameter files for global variables, all parameter set formats are supported.
Multimedia signals with frame numbers can be cut and saved as new.
Different color converters are used for different video formats.
Functions and Scripts
Improved the behavior of the SignalValueIterator for script-based evaluation: Values at the beginning and at the end of the series of measurements are read exactly once.
With the "invalid" modifier in scripts and functions, the status of signals calculated using algebraic expressions can be determined.
The script command Call () can also call scripts from subdirectories of the project if no path is specified.
Data Mining results with images (e.g. from loggers) can now be displayed synchronized in multimedia window
A GFX line with same start/end point is drawn as a pixel.
Camera Calibration Tool: Several improvements
Measurement Data Visualization and Manual Analysis
Calculated signals are also displayed properly when the envelope curve is activated.
Displaying the absolute measurement time is also possible in "Display from measurement file" mode.
The display of GFX objects in Multimedia and GPS windows also works for signals from measurement files with only one value.
The calculation of multiple virtual file signals between the current measurement and difference-cursor position is possible.
Virtual file signals can also be calculated exclusively for the current position of the global cursor.
The Text window considers changes to the global time offset of a measurement file.
Removed Google maps due to legal terms.
Virtual measurement file channels: Calculation of algebraic expressions has been improved. The device name is also evaluated correctly when it is contained within quotation marks.
The automatically determined count of decimal places for signals with a few data bits has been increased.
The post-calculated min/max values of signals in MDF files are only saved to the file if the asynchronous calculation is completed.
Calculations between measurement and difference cursor are only executed if the difference cursor is activated.
Working with Measurement Files
The measurement data export to Excel files creates empty cells for signals that have no value at a time. This makes it possible to display the signal values in Excel as graphics also if the values are missing.
GPS files in NMEA format are supported.
The import converter supports signals of FlexRay messages from bus-logging files in ASC format.
vSignalyzer uses the global settings for the measurement file selection dialog.
