The Smart Solution for Charging Communication

vSECClib (Supply Equipment Communication Controller Library) is a product family of software libraries for smart charging stations. It consists of different modules, which can be integrated into your charging station controller individually. They cover the high-level communication between the charging station, the electric vehicle and the backend.

The vSECClib.CCS software stack for example, already contains the entire protocol stream of smart charging according to ISO 15118 and DIN SPEC 70121. Moreover, the vSECClib will soon contain the modules .OCPP and .PEP and will therefore support the rapid development of smart AC or DC charging stations.

Components of vSECClib.CCS

The .CCS software stack consists of different modules, each of which is assembled according to the charging specifications selected by the customer. Depending on the charging method (AC/DC), charging standard (ISO/DIN) and the authorization method [EIM (External Identification Means) or PnC (Plug and Charge)] the product will be configured per user.

Additional Modules

Soon we will offer additional modules of the vSECClib in addition to the existing vehicle communication module (.CCS): An OCPP module (.OCPP), which performs the message handling between the controller and the backend; and a Power Electronics Protocol module (.PEP), which handles the communication to the power electronics via Ethernet and in the future also via CAN.
