TA Tool Suite is used in the phases integration and verification of the ECU software development process.

The TA Tool Suite offers a wide range of user-friendly tools for the design, simulation, optimization and verification of embedded multi-core real-time systems and covers the non-functional requirement “timing” across the complete development cycle. The expert mode enables a deep analysis of the timing behavior. Furthermore, it simplifies and semi-automates the application software distribution in multi-core processor ECUs. Additionally, the TA Tool Suite enables to increase the efficiency and reactivity of realtime multi- and many-core systems.

With the TA Tool Suite, project managers, system architects, developers and integrators make full use of all the advantages of multi-core technology.

TA Tool Suite Options

Dedicated Software Products for Every Step of the Project Lifecycle

The modular TA Tool Suite provides a dedicated software product for each step of the software project lifecycle. This
includes timing requirements specification, software architecture design and analysis, software architecture optimization and target system behavior verification.

The base module includes a project explorer and a timing model element browser. It enables data import/export and
timing requirements specifications.

Four different TA options extend this base module by the main functions of timing design, simulation, optimization
and verification.

Import/Export Interfaces

TA Tool Suite interconnects with tool-chain specific formats. ECU model and network model interfaces collect the data for the options TA.Design, TA.Simulation and TA.Optimization. Trace log interfaces are used to evaluate measurements of different debugger and profiling tool vendors with the option TA.Inspection.

Processor Models

In order to increase the precision of the options TA.Simulation and TA.Optimization, it is possible to extend them with the performance characteristics and memory behavior of specific processor derivates. This enables very detailed analysis of processor effects. The following microcontrollers are supported.

Optimized Distribution of the Multi-Core Application with the TA Tool Suite

This webinar recording shows how to optimize the AUTOSAR application distribution on multi-core systems using the combination of the Vector AUTOSAR solution and the TA Tool Suite. One of the key features of the interaction of Vector’s tool DaVinci Configurator Pro and the TA Tool Suite is the straightforward data exchange. It enables quick and effective creation of the simulation model of the AUTOSAR application and re-import of the optimized configuration in DaVinci Configurator Pro for basic software and RTE generation.
