The CANdela approach formalizes requirements management and so closes the gap between product specification and requirements specification via so-called "diagnostic templates" for individual automotive OEMs.


Usage of the Single Source Principle

Tool-supported centralized management of diagnostic requirements in an XML database (single-source principle) guarantees consistency of diagnostic description data. This database is used to generate the specification and ECU code as well as parameterize diagnostic test systems.
