With Service Pack 1, the following changes become effective:

General Usage:

• Each installed Service Pack appears in the Windows Software list with a different name.
• Project selection dialog does show the last loaded projects sorted by the project directory
• The user is asked to save changed signal comments if a graphic window is closed
• Logging import converter supports database names longer then 32 characters
• Logging import converter handles flattened XLX files
• Some problems during printing of display windows are resolved
• The hotkeys Alt+ does work even the symbol explorer is activated
• Panel buttons can be selected if only a script is assigned
• There is a new macro to get the seconds of the current time
• The statistics funtion of the graphic window take into consideration all selected signals now
• The performance of the symbol explorer is optimized for large databases
• The Shell Extension for MDF files can be installed optionaly during the main installation
• Moving multiple signals inside the legend of display windows is possible now
• Some problems during loading of very big configurations solved
• There is a progress bar during loading large configuration files
• Problem in the Data window is fixed if the delete command is selected without a selected item
• ELF MAP files can be loaded even there is no version number defined
• The setup dialog of graphic and bar display windows restore the y axis setting if they are canceled
• The configuration name field of the status bar provides a context menu to load other projects or configurations
• Logging import converter supports CANcase XL logging format XLX version 2.01
• There is a project selection if the application is started in the program directory
• The symbol Explorer support Display Names
• A backup of project files is created if the project was created by an incompatible older application version
• Components of structures can be inserted into Bar windows
• Changed values of objects used a signal color will update the GUI

Measurement (Expanded measurement data acquisition)

• Improved TAB navigation within the measurement configuration.
• Problem fixed when reading a big array (curve with 1672 axis points / data type: double)
• The filter in the signal list of the measurement configuration browser support filtering by measurement events again
• The default recorder file name is extended by the current date and time
• There is a message box if a measurement file could not be overwritten
• The result of the measurement configuration test is displayed in a message box
• Most of the columns of the measurement configuration browser provide a tooltip text now
• Stopping measurement with the ESC key can be disabled
• Saving Motorola signals into measurement files version 3.1 or greater is enabled by default now
• The measurement configuration browser provide a list of all events and all acoustic jobs now
• Disabled events are marked in the tree view of the measurement configuration browser
• Issue fixed at drawing the last value line in graphic windows during measurement
• Measurement configuration browser status bar display of selected signals is improved
• There is a new column displaying problems with measurement signals
• Test measurement configuration for all devices improved

Communication Protocol:

• Issue with the logging import converter fixed in case of importing XCP on FlexRay messages
• CAN device: error messages appear cyclically in write window if no CANcab is used
• Support GPS receiver "u-blox 5"

Functions and Scripts:

• Script function Call() has a new option to wait until the executed program has finished
• The function UserQueryDialog is extended by some new options for text alignment
• Functions RecorderStart() and RecorderStop does work for multimedia signals (video)
• MDF comment text limitation does work even the text is created by a script
• User defined functions return zero if the function is left with cancel or return;
• Correct compiler error message in case of calling a user defined function with invalid parameters
• New IsNan operator to test for invalid floating point values
• Functions of the measurement configuration with mode "On Start" are executed only once
• A script assigned to a .NET Panel button is executed only once after pressing the button
• Load time of projects with a lot of functions is improved

CANditoAPI:

• New API functions to StopScript/StopAllScripts implemented in IFlashmanager2 interface
• Fixed problem saving measurement objects using API modal mode
• CANape server: Fixed problem with GetComplexParameter
• Issue fixed when the function Asap3Exit was called

MATLAB/Simulink Support:

• Matlab API: Problem fixed when using read/write API-functions by address
• Matlab API: It should be possible to create a device without going online
• Matlab API: Added function CANapeCreateModuleOnOffline(), WriteMemory(), ReadMemory()
• File comment text exported to MATLAB files is not limited to 255 characters

Database:

• Changes of the MAP file settings are taken into consideration without restarting the ASAP2 Editor

Offline Analysis:

• Support of conversion rules for signals from BLF files if the database description has two conversion rules
• The performance is optimized if a measurement file is unloaded in the measurement file manager
• Both measurement markers can be moved syncronous using Drag&Drop with the right mouse button
• Issue with recalculation of virtual MDF signals in case of replaced input files is resolved
• MDF library supports sorting of MDF files with a too high cycle counter
• A proper error message is shown if a MDF file with a format error is loaded
• There is a progress bar during saving measurement files from the display buffer or from display windows
• Errors during resolving MDF comment field macros are signaled in the GUI
• Virtual file signals are recalculated only if some settings are changed inside the measurement file explorer
• There is no limit any longer if a measurement file is loaded into the measurement signal displays

Diagnostic (More extensive diagnostic options):

• Application note exists how to display DTCs in Graphic Window
• Issues with environment data fixed when overwriting UDS fault memory requests
• Added missing context menues in OBD window
• Toolbar buttons of diagnostic windows can be executed via context menu and shortcut
• Issue of Fault Memory Window fixed when changing the database language via the diagnostics driver setup dialog
• Copy to clipboard problem fixed in OBD window
• OBD window: Show trace area button changed
• OBD window: Problem with missing CANcard fixed
• Support of Prodis MCD-3D server (Vers. 22120)
• Usability of automatic script creation (from templates) in diagnostic console improved
