With Service Pack 1 (update to 7.2 build 42), the following changes become effective:

General:

• Support for Windows 7 32 Bit (Windows 7 64 Bit Support prepared, release together with new HW-drivers in Q1/2010)
• Installer now supports MSI based silent updates of existing CANoe 7.2 installations using software deployment systems.
• Support for Daimler Autosar System Description (Note: System Descriptions from other OEMs are not released)
• Current CANdelaStudio View 6.5 Installation included

Test Feature Set:

• The usage of ambiguous database symbols has been extended: XML test modules recently considered the qualification in the test module itself only, now the bus assignment is used additionally to achieve the unambiguousness. As an example, it is now possible to test multiple identical ECU devices on different busses with the same XML test module.
• Diagnostic Scripting Library (implement diagnostic test scripts in .NET language) is now operational again.
• The powerful gateway checks in XML test modules can be used now fully for FlexRay (even in combination with other bus systems).

Option .LIN:

• LIN support of the CANcardXLe (ExpressCard) - please download and install the newest driver (Version 7.3 or higher)
• LIN Slave Conformance Test Module
  • Full support of the LIN2.1 conformance tests for Slaves - CANcardXLe is required as LIN-hardware
  • Improved implementation of the LIN2.1 test cases

SCOPE for LIN:

• Usability improvements

BAP:

• The Function Class of a BAP Message can now determined via CAPL. This allows the explicit correlation of the FunctionID to its meaning. Implementation of CAPL filters is now much easier and allows for example the filtering of heart beat messages.

Option .MOST:

• Diagnostic descriptions can now be assigned to MOST nodes. Thereby the diagnostic functionality of an ECU or the diagnostic tester itself can be simulated in CAPL. A corresponding demo configuration can be found in the folder Demo_MOST_CN\MOSTDiagnostics

VT System:

• New driver to support Windows 7, 32 bit

Option .IP:

• Ethernet Packet Builder: IPv4 option fields can be inserted even if Ethernet packet length is already 1514byte.
• Node Layer: Stability of Socket API increased.

Option .J1939:

• Test Service Library - XML Test Modules: Consistency check for PGs and bus names improved.
• Issue with starting CANerator is fixed.
