Version History
2009-01-07: CANape 7.0 SP2
DownloadWith Service Pack 2, the following changes become effective:
General Usage:
- Symbol Explorer: "Search result" can be sorted by column "type"
- The name of the current loaded configuration is not changed if loading of a invalid configuration file was denied
- The sort order of inserted signals in display windows is top down again.
- Symbol Explorer: The context menu does work on a secondary monitor with negative pixel position
- Elf Linker map files with more then 16000 compile units (source files) are supported now.
- Fix compatibility issue when loading a project containing a LIN device created by CANape 5.6.40
- No range info tooltip displayed for string parameters any more
- MCD-3D: Fixed problem of project selection that occured when cancelling the MCD-3D device creation
- Improved T-Systems MCD3 server integration (apply system settings on server startup)
- Setup: Users having no administration rights are able now to modifiy the assignement of logical hardware channels
Measurement( Expanded measurement data acquisition )
- Support of an external time master. The time master can be activated in the device configuration
- System event "Measurement Start" can be used to start a triggered recorder
- CCP and XCP error events can be used to trigger a recorder.
- An error message is reported to the write window if automatic start of measurement is not possible because of missing Licence
- Recorder is stopped after sum of maximal stop time and post trigger time if the stop event does not occur
- Measurement functions executed "On Key" do not break the measurement if they show a dialog
- The type of conversion rules can be displayed in the GUI (Column "Type of Conversion")
- Virtual database signals or measurement functions are inserted with a valid default measurement mode
- Improved support and usability of Tricore measurement use cases using VX1000 as measurement interface
Communication Protocol
- J1939 filter settings of CAN devices can be defined individual for each device now
- ECU signals measured by XCP on FlexRay are created in the same way by the BLF import converter as by CANape during measurement
- Support Seed&Key binary algorithms for multiple ECUs
- Take care of maximum checksum block size when flashing memory
- Added explicit configuration of initial memory page for CCP-"InitRam by tool"
- XCP driver settings: usability improvements
- Do not import CODE segments from A2L as calibration memory segments
- FlexRay: Fixed interface hardware access issue
- FlexRay: Fixed logging config generation for XCP
- Measurement is not started anymore in case of DAQ configuration error
- CCP: Improved error handling during measurement
- Fixed issue saving an incorrect A2L file when it contains XCP on FlexRay communication parameters
- XCPonFlexRay: Truncate long A2L signal names if they are used in a logging config file
- Support XCP EV_SESSION_TERMINATED
- XCP on FlexRay Bandwidth management: Support transmission rate prescaler
- Report invalid conversion rules when generating logging configurations
- Fixed issue which generated invalid measurement data for XCP on Ethernet in case of MAX_DTO > 252
- Fixed data corruption issue relevant for Bypassing use cases in conjuction with arrays
- Added some XCP communication errors to the list of known errors
Functions and Scripts
- A UserQueryDialog opened by a script is suppressed if the application is started in silent mode (Commandline option -q)
- Fixed problems when changing tester present state from scripts
CANapeAPI
- Fixed problems for dual core computers on ASAP3 translator logfile creation
- Fixed problem with incorrect Task ID on nonmodal ASAP3 mode for duplicate measurement objects
- Fixed problem with CANape TCP server API function Asap3GetFifoLevel()
MATLAB/Simulink Support
- Multiple selection can be used during assigning signals to parameters of a MATLAB model.
- Fixed issue at Matlab API library
Database
- The read only flag of standard axes can be set in the ASAP2 Editor now
- The size of String variables is shown in the ASAP2 Editor variable properties dialog.
- Updated version of FIBEX-Explorer
Data Management ( Optimized calibration data management(CDM Studio) )
- Display parameter value with ASCII format in the numerical detail window of CDM-Studio in the correct way.
- Fix in comment import for PAR file format in the property dialog in CDM-Studio
- Write the correct device information in the PAR file if a PAR file is saved within the CDM-Studio
- Additional column in the EXCEL report component in CDM-Studio to report the A2L comment
Offline Analysis
- Support visualisation of GIN Multilog data files (CLF files)
- Partial loading of virtual signals does not duplicate the parameter list for each display of the signal
- ECU signals measured by XCP on FlexRay are created in the same way by the BLF import converter as by CANape during measurement
- The time grid values created by the ASCII Export for measurement files are rounded depending on the grid raster
- When importing CAN logging files, CAN remote frames are not imported by default (added option to enable this feature)
- Display structure component values after load of measurement files
Diagnostic ( More extensive diagnostic options )
- OBD and Variant Coding diagnostic windows can be exported as bitmap now.
- New context menu "Create OBD Report..." available in OBD Window
- The OBD window now handles freeze frame scans for ECUs that do not send a response for a unsupported frame number
- OBD: Fixed problem with extended (29 bit) CAN IDs for functional request messages ($18DB33F1)
- OBD: Added progress bar display while performing the OBD network scan
- New "Create report…" function to export the OBD data to an XML file
- Improved performance of diagnostic console service tree display
CANditoFlash (More flexibility)
- Communication parameters can be optionally imported from ODX or CDD file
- No separat tool needed any longer to create a flash container
- Edit the configuration file that controls/parameterizes the flash script, insert the configuration file to the flash container
