Four new modules now supplement the integrated eASEE Tool Suite. As a result, the process disciplines requirements management, change management, system data management and hierarchical software configuration management are embedded in the development processes represented in eASEE.
The named modules are overlays to the eASEE Base System that provides data management functionality and user-configurable workflows. This architecture ensures that process data do not encounter tool limits. It reduces processing cost and effort and makes processes more transparent. Interfacing of authoring tools such as MATLAB/Simulink to eASEE has also been simplified.
The new modules were created in development partnerships with customers from the automotive industry. That is how Vector assures that the requirements of E/E development processes are fully covered and practicebased in the eASEE process management tool.
