XL Driver Library for MOST synchronous channels

Using the analysis library XL Driver Library with the VN2610 MOST interface, you can now also access all synchronous channels of a MOST system within your own applications. This product makes it possible to feed test signals into the ring. If necessary, this can be done in parallel on as many MOST channels as desired. Similarly, all synchronous channels may be transmitted to the PC simultaneously by USB. For analysis purposes, the user can then implement any desired evaluation algorithms or pass the data to audio analysis software by third-party providers.

Due to the high available bandwidth, DTCP transmissions can also be analyzed. It is especially helpful here that access to the synchronous and control channels – and to the allocation table – is made via the same software interface. This ensures tight time-based coupling of all relevant events.

The library’s simple C-interface makes it possible to integrate the library in new applications. The sample application supplied as a source text demonstrates how the C-interface can be used easily and how it can serve as a starting point for your own applications. Moreover, the VN2610 may be interfaced to existing software with minimal effort.

A number of interesting applications are already covered by the Vector Tools CANoe.MOST and CANalyzer.MOST. For example, all synchronous channels can be recorded and then be played back as an audio file or fed back into the ring without requiring any development effort by the user.
