2010-12-14: CANoe.J1939, CANalyzer.J1939, CANoe/CANalyzer.J1587 Version 7.5

New Functions CANoe.J1939 Version 7.5

Trace Window:

  • The new Trace Window offers display filters for all columns to
    improve visual clarity.
  • J1939 protocol violations are visually highlighted.
  • The new columns "J1939 Interpretation" and "J1939 Violation" show protocol-specific information and help to assure J1939-conformant communication.

J1939 filter block:

  • The new dedicated J1939 filter block simplifies configuration and can be configured during the measurement.

J1939 Scanner:

  • Name management functionality per SAE J1939-81 is supported. This lets you change certain parts of the J1939 device name.
  • To improve visual understanding, for nodes that are not configured in the database, a meaningful node name is derived from the J1939 device name and is displayed.

J1939-82 Compliance Test:

  • In test execution, you can choose between a quick test and a complete test.
  • In addition, test cases are generated for transport protocols and network management.
  • Detailed error messages simplify the analysis of failed test cases.

Other:

  • In the Data Window, columns may be added for source and destination addresses (SA and DA) to make it easier to distinguish between identical parameters.
  • For better readability, you can insert J1939-specific interpretations in ASCII log files as comment lines.

NMEA 2000:

  • NMEA2000 functionality of the previous Option .NMEA2000 product has now been integrated in Option .J1939. In particular, GNSS functionality also yields advantages for commercial vehicle applications. For more information, please refer to the end of the datasheet.
