With Service Pack 3, the following changes become effective (previous service packs are contained):

General Usage:

Project Management: Use dereferenced link instead of the link itself.
The selection of tabs of some dialogs does work on a secondary monitor left of the main monitor (negative pixel coordinates).
The name of devices created from a database file can be modified now.
All selected elements of an array are inserted as block into a display window.
The configuration of signals stimulated by functions is not lost if the device is offline during saving the configuration file.
Limit of MDI windows is increased in case of more system resources.
The selection of a logging file for the trace window does not change the working directory.
The order of parameters in a parameter window is saved correct to the configuration file.
Partial loading of calibration objects from configuration files does work now.
The file selection control of Panel windows show the predefined file name.
Add checksum type CRC16_CCITT and custom_dll to hex-window supported checksums.
Fix compatibility issue for CRC16_CCITT.
PDB map file reader supports arrays of structures of all data types now.
Improved Visual Basic diagnostic example for Vista compatibility.
Add support of Fixaxis descriptions with floating point numbers.
Numeric curve Window : Save the list of parameters in the correct order.
Correct handling of master database if the global filter (label list) is activated.
Calibration window map/curve graphic: Checking the readonly state of a parameter and disable the edit fields.

Measurement (expanded measurement data acquisition):

Fix of a problem in case of opening the structure tree the first time during measurement.
Update display elements of arrays even only one element is displayed.
Fix some problems for signal filters in the measurement configuration.
Components of sub structures can be assigned to ActiveX elements.
Axis measurement objects are removed from the measurement list if their array is removed.
Measurement signals are displayed in the graphic window even they are activated after measurement was started.

Communication Protocol:

XCP on Flexray: Export all conversion rules to the logging configuration file.
CCP: Export CALRAM segment property "READONLY" to A2L file.
CAN: Fix issue which lead to missing signals at trace window.
Fix XCPonUDP communication configuration error.
Improve memory upload progress bar status.
XCP userdefined driver: fix communication issue.
Add error event which signals the occurrence of ECU DAQ buffer overrun.
Fix time drift issue for FlexCard II.
CCP/XCP: Fixed rounding issue for cyclic measurement mode.
Removed wrong error message while creation of K-Line driver.

Functions and Scripts:

Components of sub structures can be assigned to function parameters.
The internal function GetLastEvent() returns the event code of the triggering event even another event occure before execution of the function.
Fix of a problem in case of a wrong format string for the internal function SystemTime().

Offline Analysis:

CANconv Import Converter supports CLF logging files from GL1000 data loggers.
MATLAB export converter does export all signals even the option to use display names is activated.
File extension of exported MATLAB files is in lower case now to be useable on Unix based systems.
The ASCII import converter of measurement data supports absolute time stamps.

Automation:

Reading specific A2L files for MCD 3MC server use case improved.

Database:

The Interface Data Blop "CANAPE_EXT" of A2L files is written compatible to old CANape versions.
A problem is fixed that may result in wrong names of structures of the structure tree.
Fix of a problem during the A2L plausibility check.

Data Management (optimized calibration data management / CDM Studio):

Concatenate calibration ram segment before calculate the parameter list. As result parameters which overlapped between two segments ar included in the result set.
CDM-Studio: Add support of shared axis which refer a record layout with dynamic axis points.
CDM-Studio Check column descritpion against the PAR file specification to prevent not well formed file creation.
Disable menu command "Save parameter set in binary format" when CANape runs as diagnostic tester.
Display a message box if no variant is available if the user will change the variant and no variant description is available.

MATLAB/Simulink Support:

Improved ASAP2 generation and CANape Model Explorer. Please see CANape RT-Target readme for details.
Simplified installation of MATLAB-API package.

Advanced Multimedia:

Only the first video device capture output pin is used for capture and preview.
