- Fixed Symbol Explorer issue if a CAN database file is edited externally and reimported.
- A global variable can be deleted in the Function Browser even if it was renamed before.
- Some minor issues when working with breakpoints in the Function Browser are resolved.
- Accessing string characters using the [] operator is possible.
- Fixed issue if the configuration accidentally contains multiple Write window signals.
- User defined functions with more than 128 arguments are supported. Up to 1000 arguments can be used now.
- Minmized calibration windows are restored after changing the display page.
- Feature to display numerical value is improved to consider the option 'Always use configured range' with 'Engineering notation' in the correct way.
- The feature to display numerical value is improved: In case of data type integer and no digit after dot defined in the database definition the optimal representation of a value consider all digit left of the decimal point.
Communication Protocols
- XCP on FlexRay: Improved device configuration
- Improved ARXML support
- Issue resolved if there are no application channels for FlexRay defined in the Vector Hardware configuration dialog.
- XCP: Fixed byte order issue for static daq lists
- LIN: Fixed device configuration issue which lead to wrong network assignment
- FlexRay: Ignored signals from null frames
- XCP: Fixed DAQ timestamp issue for motorola byte order ECUs
- CAN Replay: Fixed device configuration issue
- XCP on FlexRay: Removed some frame type checks due to customer databases which are not spec compliant.
- Improved message name visualization of measurement signals for GMLAN LowSpeed DBC in trace window.
- Accepted unsorted DAQ lists from CCP IF_DATA section.
Measurement Data Acquisition
- Recording of ECU signals is possible again after stop and restart of measurement for a single ECU using script functions.
- XCP: Improved daq list usage calculation at measurement configuration dialog
- Fixed overload issue when measuring many signals via polling mode
- Support of VN8900 as network interface for LIN. Requires PNI driver.
- Measurement and processing of the payload data bytes of CAN messages is supported.
- Enabled the usage of a CAN dbc database file for multiple devices with different logical channel numbers.
- XCP: Fixed timestamp calculation in case of measuring more than 31 kByte per event
- Autosave function is removed because it is not required any more to restore temporary written measurement files.
Offline Analysis of Measurement Files
- Issue fixed while displaying data from measurement file and working with the measurement cursors.
- Improved playing of multimedia files with audio and video stream and only audio stream.
- The MATLAB export converter creates valid time raster in M files if a signal group contains only one signal.
- Dimension lines can be configured for the time axis.
- The time signal is saved only once if the same signal is displayed multiple and saved from graphic windows.
- Single array element signals from a MDF4 file displays the correct value.
- Wrong bus statistic information of XLX files from data loggers is ignored at conversion into MDF format.
- Additional comment fields of MDF4 measurement files can be deleted.
Database
- If the database was not saved by the user an update of addresses in ASAP2 database will be made by the next start of the project.
- Plausibility check of ASAP2 databases will not change the value range of integers if they differ only in not significant digits from the maximum value range.
- Loading speed of ELF linker map files is improved.
- Verbal conversion tables are created for enumerations if a variable is created from an IEEE 695 Map file.
- Issue with duplicate ASAP1B CCP entries in the properties dialog of database variables is resolved.
- The time to load an ASAP2 database file is reduced significantly.
- Hyperlink code is removed from error messages of the Database Editor at startup.
