With Service Pack 1 (update to 5.1 build 25) the following changes become effective:

Trace window

More detailed interpretation of the messages VT12 and VT21 in the diagnostic column

Virtual Terminal

Learn mode for assignment of auxiliary functions to auxiliary inputs
Support of diagnostic information messages
Zoom mode available in case of multiple working sets now as well
Correct behavior in passive mode (no timeout)
Correct handling of Pointer Type 3 of Auxiliary Pointer Designator
Improved handling after modifying the settings

ISO11783 Node Layer

Object Pool API: supports assignment response for nodes supporting Virtual Terminal Version 2
Object Pool API: stores auxiliary assignments and sends preferred assignments
Object Pool API: supports learn mode for auxiliary assignments
Object Pool API: sends supported Virtual Terminal version in maintenance message if version > 2
Process Data API: sends correct Working-set task message
