2008-11-20: CANalyzer 7.1

New Features:

  • You can configure the offline mode with a collection of logging files. During analysis these files are replayed chronologically depended on the time stamps. With this splitted logging files can be merged.
  • The logging format of the data logger GL1000, CANlog and Multilog is now supported by the offline mode.
  • You can perform additional actions in the measurement setup during measurement runtime. Comments can be added and displayed to the blocks in a comfortable way.
  • The RS232 interface support is now integrated directly in CANalyzer and allows you to easily use external devices.
The usability was further improved in version 7.1 by implementing various customer wishes
  • The column size of the graphics window legend can be changed. It is also possible to move the difference cursor equidistant to keep the length of the measurement section.
  • Signals in data and graphics window are qualified additionally with the network name. This prevents misinterpretation of identical signal names on different buses.
  • For quick analysis you can simply drag & drop logging files into the Trace Window.
  • Syntax highlighting is supported for CAN messages in trace window.
  • The template for new configurations can be configured. By default a simplified template is used.
  • The name of the current configuration is displayed in the title bar.
