2011-06-17: CANoe/CANalyzer.J1939, CANoe/CANalyzer.J1587 Version 7.6

New Functions CANoe.J1939 and CANalyzer.J1939 Version 7.6

Improved analysis of bus activities in the Trace Window:

  • New analysis filters for network management, diagnostics and proprietary parameter groups simplify the display of individual subject areas.
  • Searching based on user-defined conditions now also supports parameter groups and priority.
  • Supplemental interpretations accelerate the analysis of J1939 diagnostic memory accesses.
  • Additional warnings for transport protocols inform about time violations on the sender side.
  • Signal sorting can be configured. This makes it easier to find parameters.

System variables in J1939 Diagnostic Memory Window:

  • System variables can now be used for the boot-load and seed/key methods.

Dynamic filter functionality in the J1939 Filter Block:

  • Integration of dynamic filter functionality simplifies the process of configuring filter conditions in a dynamic network considerably. In particular, the configurable columns view improves readability.

Optimized display of signals:

  • Signals of the SigType = ASCII are now also displayed as strings when their length is >64 bits.

Extensions for NMEA 2000®:

  • In the NMEA2000 sample database, the attribute SigType = StringLengthControl is used for string signals with data format DF50 or DF51. This makes it possible to display these signals in text form in the Trace and Data windows.
  • Various optimizations make it easier to use and analyze
parameter groups that are transmitted with the Fast Packet transport protocol.

New Functions CANoe/CANalyzer.J1587 Version 7.6

  • Analysis of gateway functionality is simplified by color-coded highlighting of object and message icons.
  • New message types in the CANdb++-Editor make it easier to configure J1708/J1587 messages.
