2012-02-14: CANoe 7.6 SP4 incl. FlexRay, Car2x, IP, J1939, ISO11783

With Service Pack 4, the following changes become effective:

General:

  • Support of new VN1611 hardware interface for CAN and LIN
  • VT-System: Support of the new VT System General-Purpose Relay Module VT2820 and the forthcoming general-purpose analog I/O module VT2816 and general-purpose digital I/O module VT2848.
  • Logger: The CLF files generated by the loggers GL3000/GL4000 can now be directly imported into the Trace window or used in the offline mode

Test Feature Set:

  • Appliation Note "Using CANoe .NET Api" updated.
  • Count of DTC entries can now be remembered in XML test modules when using
  • Removal of test environments via COM is now possible without user involvement.

Option SCOPE:

  • Support of multiple scopes for parallel acquisition of up to 4 CAN or 8 LIN channels
  • Improved decode and highlighting of LIN protocol errors
  • Increased maximum acquisition duration
  • Also many small features and improvements

Option .FlexRay:

  • Automatic configuration of the Payload Preamble Flag for a remaining bus simulation depending on the database settings.
  • Diagnostics: CANoe/CANlayzer can be configured as diagnostics tester in a FlexRay bus. (Send only option in the diagnostics configuration)
  • Interaction Layer: No automatic transmission of signal defaults at measurement start.
  • Interaction Layer: The general disturbance functions for a FlexRay Interaction Layer can be used in a testmodul directly: TestFRILControlWait, TestFRILControlResume, TestFRILDisturbCounter,TestFRILDisturbChecksum, TestFRILDisturbSignalUpdateBit, TestFRILDisturbPduUpdateBit

Option .AMD/.XCP:

  • Support additional convertion formulas
  • COMPU_METHOD FORM (Binary)
  • XCP on Ethernet: Implicit control of the TCP connection during XCP Connect/Disconnect
  • AMD/XCP configuration is ignored when the option is missing

Option .Car2x:

  • Trace Window: WLAN packets can be exported to BLF log file.
  • Trace Window - Detail View:
    • Position Accuracy (PosAcc) of Long Position Vector is calculated correctly.
    • In case of UTF-8 strings ASCII characters are displayed.
    • Each non-ASCII character is displayed as a dot.
    • Invalid UTF-8 data is displayed as a single dot.
    • The first position of invalid UTF-8 data is given.
  • ASN.1 Import: Import of data type NULL supported
  • Car2x Interaction Layer:
    • New function C2xGetDefaultMacId( BYTE macId[] ) to read the MAC ID of the WLAN interface.
    • Function C2xRemoveToken() can be used to remove sub-elements of ASN.1 based protocols.
    • Error message 46-0124 "In the current context the token is not available" is downgraded to warning level. This allows using this function as a check for a protocol field's availability.

Option .IP:

  • Installation of Option IP preserves already installed MOST interface drivers.
  • The MAC ID of CANoe Network Stack can be configured according to the network interface while the Diagnostic Console is present in the configuration.
  • Diagnostics over IP (DoIP) can be used with WIN sockets while Ethernet channels are configured.

Option .J1939:

  • J1939 Filter Block: On insertion into the measurement setup this block is active.
  • J1939 Scanner: Manufacturer Codes updated
  • J1939Template.dbc: Attribute 'GenSigILSupport' = 'Yes' as default
  • GNSS Node Layer: GNSSGetAbsFilePath() detects absolute path now as well.
  • J1939 XML Test Module Manager: Test environment can be integrated into CANoe configuration by means of button [Setup TSE] even if database has file extension with uppercase letters (e.g. "MyDatabase.DBC").

Option .ISO11783:

  • ISO11783 Node Layer: The correct transmission of a parameter group with DLC>8 (with transport protocol) is verified while the priority is ignored; PDD API: On working set initialization after the 'Working Set Master Message' (PGN 0xFE0D) the 'Working Set Task Message' is sent to the Task Controller and then other messages like the 'Request Version Message'.
