MICROSAR-OS is a preemptive real-time multitasking operating system with properties that are optimized for use in microcontrollers. Vector’s many years of experience in working with operating systems and drivers for microcontrollers have led to the creation of MICROSAR-OS – a compact, robust operating system core. It conforms to AUTOSAR specification versions 2.1 and 3.x. This open standard of the automotive industry is the key to long-term availability.
Properties and Advantages:
Due to its static operating system architecture, MICROSAR-OS is compact and quick. In addition to its basic functionality, the operating system offers timing protection and memory protection, assuming that the hardware offers the necessary support for these features.
