IT-Management Assistant (m/f) (IHK)
Job description:
IT-Management Assistants advise our internal customers in Germany on the introduction or expansion of IT systems. Your job is to analyze specific customer requirements, come up with concepts for suitable solutions, and direct projects. You would implement extensions to IT systems and provide system and customer support. Your business-related tasks include estimating prices for setting up IT systems and issuing cost estimates. IT-Management Assistants discuss plans and estimates with the customer, generate related quotations and provide information for negotiating a final contract.
General information on the training program:
- Program duration: 3 years (IHK)
- in cooperation with the ADV, Böblingen
- Dual-track system, i.e. separate blocks of theoretical phases at the vocational school and practical phases at the company
- Potential areas of employment after successful completion of the educational program: Internal Business Systems, Support, Purchasing, Sales
Prerequisites:
- Secondary school, technical school or high school diploma
- Good grades in mathematics and technical comprehension
- Good German and English language skills
- Some experience in working with software and hardware
- Interest in IT work
Next program start date:
On the 1st of September 2012.
