GL1000

The compact data recorder for CAN, LIN, analog channels and CCP/XCP with seed&key as a fleet solution

The GL1000 coompact data recorder for CAN, LIN, analog channels and CCP/XCP is the optimal fleet solution for logging CAN and LIN data communication. Messages are saved and evaluated based on the loaded configuration. Because of its low current consumption in sleep mode, the GL1000 is excellent for vehicle testing. The logger’s compact size makes it easy to install in your vehicles.

The high memory capacity of the SD memory cards also makes the GL1000 practical for long-duration recordings. In addition, the GL1000 supports logging of analog measurement data during a test drive, such as battery voltage, as well as internal ECU parameters via CCP/XCP.

A configuration tool is used to configure the data logger for different types of use. The data is logged based on the configured filter and trigger conditions and is then evaluated in CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, CANgraph or MS Excel.

Data logger functions:

  • Easy-to-use graphical configuration tool
  • Simultaoeous logging of 2 CAN (e.g. 100 % bus load at 500 kBit/s), 2 LIN and 4 analog channels
  • Storage on SD card (up to 2 GB)
  • Start time typically 150 ms
  • Quick read-out of logged data directly via USB or commercially available SD card reader
  • Automatic conversion to BLF, ASC, MDF or TXT format
  • Ring buffer can be used for long-duration recordings or event-driven recordings (via trigger)
  • Optional measurement data acquisition via CCP/XCP, including seed&key
  • Signaling by buzzer or digital outputs
