Job description:
Computer Science Specialists in system integration plan and configure IT and telecommunication systems, e.g. networked systems, including all hardware and software components. As a service provider within the company, you would set up these systems according to customer requirements as well as operate and manage them. This work includes systematic localization and troubleshooting of errors utilizing the latest expert and diagnostic systems. Technical consultation, support and training of users, and giving instruction in new systems are also part of the job.
General information:
- Program duration: 3 years (IHK)
- In cooperation with the IT-Schule, Stuttgart
- Dual-track system, i.e. separate blocks of theoretical phases at the vocational school and practical phases at the company
- Potential job areas after successful completion of the educational program: Network administration, Support
Prerequisites:
- Secondary school, technical school or high school diploma
- Good grades in mathematics
- Good German and English language skills
- Some experience working with software and hardware
- Interest in IT technology
Next program start date:
On the 1st of September 2013.
