CANgraph 8.2

Functions:

CANgraph offers a large number of evaluation options for editing and comparing measurement data:

  • Zoom functions and measurement cursor let you examine signal responses at any level of detail. They may be searched according to definable criteria.
  • The Symbol Explorer makes configuration of the display windows easy and convenient by drag & drop
  • The display of all signal properties and MDF metadata such as project, user name, etc. in the Symbol Explorer simplifies selection of the right measurement data.
  • For automated measurement data analysis, besides internal script language, it is also possible to utilize models created in MATLAB/Simulink.
  • The Measurement Data Manager makes it easy to manage loaded measurement files by showing signal names and statistical information.
  • The Signal Explorer offers a detailed view of a measurement file’s contents.
  • Definable templates are available for uniform printout of measurement data.
  • Any desired time ranges for selected signals can be saved in separate measurement files.
  • Users can add comments to signal points and ranges. The comments appear in the Graphic Window, on the printout and are saved in the MDF file.
  • User-definable panels that may include ActiveX elements simplify visualization of measurement data.
  • Multimedia signals acquired with CANape are shown in the Multimedia Window synchronous to the measured data.
  • Logged characteristic curves and maps can be displayed numerically and graphically, including with operating points.
  • Evaluation of FlexRay measurements
  • Synronous movement of measurement and difference cursors over all display windows
  • Display of the data structure of measured ECU signals
  • Data Window for displaying all signal values and properties
  • Signal curves and maps are overlaid with additional information
  • Processing of large MDF files up to 4 GB in size

New functions of Version 8.2:

  • Extensive function library for processing measurement files
  • Virtual signals can be nested (a virtual signal is used as an input for other virtual signals); this is easy to configure by drag & drop
  • Quicker operation by asynchronous computation of virtual signals
  • Data Mining interface simplifies automated evaluation and viewing of large quantities of data
  • Envelope curve representation in the Graphic Window simplifies analysis of data while simultaneously accelerating the loading process
  • Enhanced convenience features in the Graphic Window; mouse can be used to quickly shift the display range of signals, and axis scaling can be modified with the mouse wheel.
