Vector Bus Transceivers
Special interchangeable bus transceivers are needed to operate Vector interfaces on CAN, LIN, J1708 and FlexRay bus systems. They are available either pre-integrated in the cable as so-called "cabs" or as piggyback boards or "piggies."
Vector offers the following bus transceivers:
- TWINcabs for CANcardXLe
- CANcabs and LINcabs for CANcardXL
- CANpiggies and LINpiggies for CANcaseXL, CANboardXL, and CANister
- FRpiggies for the FlexRay Interfaces VN3300 and VN3600 as well as the FlexRay/CAN Interface VN7600
- J1708cab/piggy for the XL-Interface Family
