CANape 8.0

Functions:

The basic functions of CANape include:

  • Time-synchronous real-time acquisition and visualization of internal ECU signals with CCP/XCP, signals from CAN, LIN and FlexRay buses as well as external measuring equipment
  • Online calibration via CCP/XCP and real-time stimulation and bypassing via XCP
  • Offline calibration of hex files
  • Offline evaluation of measurement data from manual evaluation to automated data mining with integrated functional language or user-generated DLLs
  • Runtime environment for “software in the loop” solutions - algorithms that will run later in the ECU can be integrated in CANape
  • Fast and secure flashing of binary files and parameter sets
  • Seamlessly integrated diagnostics via KWP2000 and UDS
  • Powerful management of calibration data, comparing and merging of parameter sets
  • DLLs - generated via Simulink models or from C-code - compute signal values during the measurement for visualization or for bypassing of functions in the ECU
  • Automation interface for ASAM MCD3 measurement and calibration
  • Acquisition of environmental data with video, audio, GPS and external measuring equipment synchronous to the ECU measurement data
  • Processing of measurement values and signals as well as automation of user input sequences using the integrated programming language

Special functions and options:

  • CAN, LIN and FlexRay monitoring
  • Measurement and calibration via CAN, FlexRay, LIN, USB, Ethernet and serial interfaces such as SPI/SCI, NBD, AUD, Nexus and JTAG
  • ODX support for flash and diagnostic data
  • Automated flash procedure controlled by ODX-F files
  • Reliable and time-synchronous documentation of driving situations by audio and video recording without keyboard input
  • Process-conformant, server-based management of calibration data with the stand-alone database tool eASEE.cdm
  • Options extend the functional features by adding: visualization of the GPS vehicle position, access to models at runtime in Simulink, an ASAM MCD3 interface and optical verification of object recognition algorithms in developing driver assistance systems
