Integrating Software in AUTOSAR ECUs

As long as the AUTOSAR Basic Software is configured consistently, the use of standardized interfaces greatly simplifies integration of the ECU software. The Basic Software is generated or modified using the ECU Configuration Description, and this eliminates the need for manual modifications. The RTE integrates the implemented code of application components with the Basic Software.

This enables you to read for example communication matrixes or integrate software components, which are developed based on tools like MATLAB® Simulink®.
