2011-06-17: CANoe.Car2x and CANalyzer.Car2x

Option .Car2x lets you extend CANoe and CANalyzer by adding wireless communication – conformant to the IEEE 802.11p standard (pWLAN) – as it is used in vehicle-to-vehicle (Car2Car) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (Car2Infrastructure) communication. This makes it possible to directly evaluate Car2x-specific application protocols as well as the application messages placed on them, such as the Cooperative Awareness Message (CAM) and the Decentralized Environmental Notification Message (DENM).

The WLAN Packet Builder is available with its intuitive user interface for stimulating individual WLAN packets. It makes it easy for you to create and send correct WLAN packets or corrupted packets for testing purposes. Function libraries are available in CAPL for more complex simulations of scenarios, consisting of vehicles (ITS Vehicle Stations) and infrastructure (ITS Roadside Station).

An existing module may be used as the WLAN interface hardware. It may be used together with the vehicle application or exclusively as a measurement interface. An open interface is used to interface to CANoe/CANalyzer.
