CANape 10.0 - Option GPS
Viewing the vehicle's position in CANape
The Option GPS extends the measuring, calibration, and diagnostics tool CANape by including the current vehicle position on an electronic map. The interpretation of recorded measurement data is enhanced since specific geographical conditions can be taken into account during the evaluation.
Features and Advantages
While measuring data in the vehicle during a test drive, besides log-ging the actual measured data the CANape Option GPS (Global Positioning System) also logs precise GPS data and provides visualization of the momentary vehicle position in a GPS display window with a stored map. During offline evaluation, measurement data in the CANape display windows can be displayed together with the corresponding vehicle position in the additional GPS Window. This allows the user to interpret the obtained data more efficiently.

The CANape Option GPS offers the following functionality:
- Creation of freely configurable and scalable GPS colour display windows
- Display of the vehicle position in the GPS display window during the measurement and the evaluation
