New Product Overviews + VN1600, Mike Alexander Vector has released two new network interface families packed with new technology & features Increased channel density is a consistent theme for both the VN1600 and VN8900 product families. The VN1600 family has four members from small size to four channels. The VN8900 family has up to eight channels along with an integrated real-time PC supporting model simulations and standalone operation. This presentation will introduce you to the new products and show you some ways you can benefit from our new technology. |

1:00 PM |
CANape in a hardened PC can do it all on the road, Kurt Krueger
|
1:00 PM |
| Looking for a tool to validate your diagnostic protocol implementation? CANoe option DiVa uses CANdelaStudio or ODX data to automatically generate test cases for CANoe. Detailed test report tools provide extensive debugging capabilities. |
Looking for a super-smart data logger in a super-tough package that can go anywhere and do anything? The new Mobile CANape package can be configured to not just log data, but interact with, flash re-program, and test your vehicle controls on the road. With the built-in GSM modem, GPS, and Wi-Fi interfaces, Mobile CANape can be remotely monitored, tested, and re-configured at any time from your home base. |
Indigo: Vector's Dedicated Diagnostic Tool, Jeff Craig

VX1000: The world's fastest ECU interface, Mark Jensen
|
1:20 PM |
| Looking for a tool that focuses on vehicle diagnostics and provides an easy to use interface for many levels of users? Indigo provides many options for accessing diagnostic features of a single ECU, or an entire vehicle. |
The VX1000 family of calibration and data acquisition devices delivers extremely high bandwidth connections to ECUs in development. By connecting directly to the microcontroller data trace or debug port, the VX1000 can deliver up to 5MB/s data throughput and minimum latency in calibration and bypassing functions with minimal impact on ECU execution and performance. The VX1000 supports many of today's high-end microcontrollers, including the MPC5xxx, TMSx70, TC17x7, TC1x8x, XC2000, and V850E2. |
Developing In-Vehicle Ethernet Systems with CANoe.IP, Jeff Craig

VN8900: Optimal Performance, Kurt Krueger |
1:40 PM |
| Working with Ethernet implementations in-vehicle? The CANoe option IP provides functionality for developing, simulating and testing Ethernet and WLAN applications used in vehicle networks. |
The VN8900 uses an integrated real-time PC to support up to 8 network channels and multiple I/O channels that can be used for a wide variety of applications. A particular focus is on parallel access to multiple bus channels and I/Os with exacting real-time and latency requirements. The VN8900 can be used in a stand-alone mode or in combination with CANoe, CANalyzer, or CANape for optimal performance with simulation, bypassing, logging, and gateway applications. |
CANape/MATLAB/Simulink Integration, Jeff Rothenberg
|
2:00 PM |
| CANape's Simulink Model Explorer can visualize live data moving through Simulink/Stateflow models running as .dlls in a simulation environment or as generated code on the target hardware. With the Simulink XCP Server, CANape provides a user interface for monitoring, calibrating, and visualizing models in Simulink for powerful model-based development capabilities. |

CANalyzer & CANoe Feature Review, Jun Lin Vector's CANoe and CANalyzer are in use nearly everywhere a vehicle network application exists. Vector will present a short overview of the features of these products and how they may be used for system development and validation. Engineers will walk away with a better understanding of CANoe and CANalyzer functionality. |
