2008-11-12: CANoe Option DiVa 2.1

The option DiVa (Diagnostic Integration and Validation Assistant) extends CANoe to a tool for automatically generating and executing of reproducible test cases for the implementation and integration of the diagnostic protocol.

In the new version 2.1, the following new features were implemented:

Diagnostic Protocol Standards

• Support of ODX format. Option DiVa now also executes test cases based on diagnostic descriptions per ODX 2.0.1 and 2.2.0.

Support in Test Report Analysis

• Supplementing classification of test cases in test groups, three new views of the test results are now available:
  • Services: In which test cases is a service tested?
  • Results: What types of errors occurred?
  • States: In which states were tests conducted?
• Definition of filter criteria, e.g. to hide secondary errors
• Improved report. The report now contains additional information on sent requests and received responses as well as links to the diagnostic specification.
• Pack&Go functionality for easy exchange of entire DiVa projects.
