CANalyzer 7.2 The Tool for Comprehensive ECU and Network Analysis CANalyzer is the universal analysis tool for ECU networks and dis-tributed Special Functions Highlights of CANalyzer include: > A simple, intuitive user control concept > The programmability with CAPL > The capability to freely place function blocks in the Data Flow Plan > Bus-specific adaptations of different function blocks > Transport Protocol Observer for ISO/DIS 15765-2 > Diagnostics Observer for UDS and KWP2000 based on CANdela description files (CDD) as well as ODX 2.0.1 and 2.2.0 files > Simple user-defined diagnostic tester for KWP2000 and UDS systems. CANalyzer makes it easy to observe, analyze, and supplement data traffic in CAN, LIN, MOST, or FlexRay systems. With powerful functions and user-programmability, all needs are covered from simple network analysis to advanced trouble-shoot-ing of complex problems. Features and Advantages CANalyzer is controlled intuitively from a graphic block diagram, which depicts data flow from the bus over the PC interface to the various screen evaluation windows and to the log file. The system is parameterized in this block diagram. Additionally the user may place function blocks on the diagram and configure them, e.g. Fil-ter, 3/40 Generator, and Replay Blocks. Application Areas CANalyzer covers all types of implementations in an ideal way from simple network analysis to powerful analysis and emulation systems for any complex applications. It does not matter if your ECU is expected for vehicles with a combustion engine, a hybrid or an electric engine. For example, allows the possibility to place a Replay Block in the Send Branch to play previously recorded data traffic of a function-al bus system back onto the bus. By placing a filter after this it is even possible to hide specific portions of the data traffic. This provides a perfect test environment for an ECU in the laboratory. Other examples of CANalyzer applications include: > Emulation of single bus modules Functions The basic functions offer you a multitude of usage options. These include: > Listing of bus data traffic (Tracing) > Graphic and textual display of signal values > Interactive sending of predefined messages > Sending of logged messages > Statistics on messages > Statistics on bus loading and bus disturbances > Logging of messages for replay or offline evaluation > Generation of bus disturbances Standard CANalyzer configuration for the analysis of a CAN system More Information: www.vector.com/contact
