Entirely new: CANoe Release 7.1
Whether for testing, diagnostics or analysis: Version 7.1 of CANoe gives you useful new functions in all application areas:
> Option XCP enables new test scenarios based on access to internal ECU values via XCP
> For standard diagnostics, a complete OBD II Tester is integrated
> The interactive diagnostic console and fault memory window can now be used for LIN and FlexRay too
> Numerous improvements and support for the "Operator and Display Protocol" simplifies communication analysis.

CANalyzer Release 7.1 now available
In keeping with the wishes of many users, analysis tasks are even easier to perform with the new Version 7.1 of CANalyzer. Several logging files can automatically be combined in offline analysis, for example, and the Trace Window enables communication analysis per Operator and Display Protocol.

VT System - Flexible I/O Interface Modules for Testing ECUs
Vector offers a compact and modular hardware solution for driving the I/O lines for testing automotive ECUs. The modules of the VT System can be used to simulate loads, measure the voltage at ECU outputs, stimulate inputs and to generate faults such as short circuits. Flexible test benches can be produced with minimal wiring effort.

Know-how: ECU tests with fault simulation
Besides testing basic functionality a modern test system for ECUs must also enable testing of the most important fault cases. This applies to the ECU's communication interfaces as well as its I/O interfaces. Using test concepts specially tailored to the needs of the automotive industry, you can implement relevant test systems early in the development process. The compact VT System successfully addresses the various challenges to the test system.

Improved interface between CANoe and MATLAB/Simulink
The new 2.1 version of the CANoe/MATLAB Interface simplifies data exchange between the two standard tools considerably. Among other things MATLAB models may now be parameterized directly from CANoe.

CANoe.MOST supports MOST150
Starting in Q1/2009 the new Version 7.1 of CANoe.MOST will also support the new MOST150 standard. This gives users a tool for MOST150 with the same interface as the tool for MOST25.

Know-how: AUTOSAR PDUs Conquer FlexRay
Audi is using FlexRay in their newest vehicles. The developed FlexRay network communication uses PDUs (Protocol Data Units) that are fully AUTOSAR compatible. PDUs are logical data containers for exchanging signals between applications and allowing greater decoupling from the underlying communication system.

CANoe.DiVa 2.1 now also supports ODX
In the new Version 2.1, the integration and validation tool now also automatically executes test cases based on diagnostic descriptions per ODX 2.0.1 or 2.2.0. In addition, test analysis is simplified by various views and filter criteria in report generation.

Solutions for Open Protocols
Reliable analysis of Car2x communication
The new Version 7.1 of Option IP for CANalyzer and CANoe has further improved working with IP-based protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP. In particular, capabilities for stimulation of ECUs were extended. Extensive integration of the Ethernet interface in CANalyzer and CANoe means that Option IP can now also be combined with all other CANalyzer and CANoe bus options. This opens up new possibilities in analyzing communication.

Development, testing and analysis of CANopen networks made even easier
Effective immediately, CANalyzer.CANopen 7.0 contains the CANeds EDS editor and can display the signal names of the PDOs. You can also use CANoe.CANopen 5.0 to create simple application tests and LSS tests for CANopen devices and benefit from new generation templates for device tests. Using the project planning tool ProCANopen 6.2 you can also save EDS files in XML format now.

CANeds is used to create, modify and test EDS files, thereby avoiding later problems in working with related CANopen configuration programs. A full-featured editor is available as freeware.
