Hardware: Network Interfaces, Measurement and Data Logging

New CANcardXLe: Four Channel ExpressCard Interface for CAN and LIN
Starting end of July Vector will offer the CANcardXLe, a bus interface for ExpressCard notebooks. ECU and network developers will benefit from its flexible CAN and LIN application via four independent channels, which can be used with different transceivers. The LINcab, J1708cab, 5790cab and IOcab will be supported from Q4/2008. CANcardXLe requires at least the versions V7.0 SP5 of CANoe/CANalyzer or V6.5 SP4 of CANape. More...

Stop of support of Vector's old CANcardX and of other interface hardware
Due to a large portfolio of broadly available up-to-date and powerful interface hardware, the support of the following old hardware interfaces will be discontinued:
CANcardX, CANcardY, CANcardSJA, CANcard2, CAN-AC2, EDICcard, LAPcan II, Leaf, DRVlin, USBcan II, Memorator and FlexRay xModule/PC104. The versions 7.1 of CANoe/CANalyzer as well as the upcoming releases of CANape 7.0, CANdito 3.0 and CANditoFlash will not support the above mentioned interfaces any more. Exception: the CANcardX will still be supported by CANape 7.0, CANdito 3.0 and CANditoFlash.
