Welcome to the April issue of the Vector Newsletter. In the February issue you read here that AUTOSAR is increasingly finding its way into practical applications - with Vector in the thick of it. What may have been a confident claim at that time has now been officially confirmed by the AUTOSAR development partnership itself: Vector received the AUTOSAR Premium Member Award, recognizing Vector's commitment to its work on the committee. We see the award as an incentive to continue contributing our expertise to support the AUTOSAR goals.
In addition to the large number of improvements in new releases of well known products, a brand new product can be announced today: the data logger GL1000. It might be worth taking a look at the hardware section below.

Dynamic bandwidth optimization for calibration on FlexRay available
CANape 6.5 now adapts the allocation of XCP slots in the FlexRay schedule to the current measurement demands. This feature optimizes the transmission of the XCP data by an improved distribution of the XCP bandwidth within the involved slaves. The Vector XCP software modules, using the AUTOSAR communication stack, support this new feature for the slaves without reconfiguring the FlexRay stack. -

Create flash data conveniently with CANdelaFlash 2.0
The new version 2.0 of CANdelaFlash now makes it even more convenient to create flash sessions with default values. The new data extraction plug-in interface allows flash container attributes to be preset automatically from the imported flash data. This minimizes your interaction to create new flash containers.
